The Medisana TargetScale, as designed by WAACS, is not a regular personal scale. With the light rings, the Medisana TargetScale visualizes the difference between your current and your target weight. Besides monitoring your weight, the scale calculates your Body Mass Index, fat and body water percentage and muscle and bone mass. These values are displayed in the active-matrix display, and/or in the connected VitaDock application.
With the VitaDock app for iPhone, iPod touch or iPad your health statistics are tracked and monitored on demand. The User Interaction (UI) for the scale is completely designed by WAACS, together with the concept of the TargetScale and the innovative product design (see related article). The whole UI is about balancing between targeting your weight and not getting focused on numbers.
