The task: give the existing PowerRoll a serious upgrade in a race against the clock. Here, WAACS got to flex its design muscles for Medisana, leading in consumer health care products in Germany and the Benelux. Our winning strategy?
With no time to lose to redesign Medisana’s power roller, we put together a small team of expert users from our network, including fitness coaches and professional dancers. The feedback was clear: it needed to do more and be easier to use.
The WAACS crew came up with not one renewed groove pattern, but alternating sections across the power roller with different groove patterns for more options to activate, regenerate, strengthen and relax your muscles. We also introduced various vibration modes and intensities, and an easy-to-adjust control panel. The result: a versatile and user-friendly workout tool for fitness and wellness purposes.
The Medisana PowerRoll was launched in September 2017 at the IFA in Berlin, Europe’s largest trade fair for consumer electronics.
