WAACS is pleased to see that our developed Velda Fish Feeder Pro, is been used for inventive research projects. The University of Nijmegen uses the Velda Fish Feeder Pro to gain insight into aquaculture and especially fish feeding / eating behavior.
With intensive research, professor Gert Flik discovered that when fish can choose their own dinner moment they need 50 % less food to grow in the same speed. The results can be used as a great input for new product development.
